State Energy Plan Scope

The New York State Energy Planning Board reviewed the public comments received on the Draft Scope for the 2014 State Energy Plan and adopted a Final Scope [PDF] at the October 26, 2011 Board Meeting. The topic areas developed in the State Energy Plan are based on and guided by the statutory requirements specified in Article 6 of the Energy Law.

Statute

The State Energy Planning Process is governed by Article 6 of the Energy Law .

Regulations

The New York State Energy Planning Board reviewed the public comments on the Draft Regulations and adopted Final Regulations [PDF] at the October 26, 2011 Board Meeting. These regulations outline the conduct of the state energy planning process, as guided by the enabling legislation (Article 6 of the Energy Law ).  The Final Regulations were published in Issue 46 of the State Register on November 16, 2011.

Bylaws

The New York State Energy Planning Board amended and adopted Bylaws [PDF] at the October 26, 2011 Board Meeting. These bylaws address the Energy Planning Board’s membership, powers and duties, and meeting process, as guided by the enabling legislation (Article 6 of the Energy Law).
